About Brian Wilson

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as a London real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients. I guess these are some of the reasons I've become an award winning Realtor! I've been awarded the "Ultimate Service" award from Coldwell Banker Canada for my outstanding level of customer service during 2007, and received the Executive Club Award from RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic for sales in 2008 and 2009. Since creating GlobeCorp Realty, things have continued to exceed my expectations. I look forward to continuing to provide this high level of customer service to all of my past, present and future clients!

Better Business Bureau

GlobeCorp Ltd. is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau of Western Ontario. I'm a firm believer of providing quality customer service to all of my clients and customers and feel that by voluntarily joining this great organistation, future clients and customers will have some basis to know that they can trust the level of service I can provide them and know that by choosing to be held accountable by these great organisations, I am taking the initiative in ensuring happy clients in the future. You can view our BBB report online here.

Supporting Charity

I am proud to have been a mircale REALTOR with the Childrens Miracle Network for the years 2008/09. A portion of my commission from every deal over these years has been donated to CMN to support children in need.

Since creating GlobeCorp Ltd, and GlobeCorp Realty, I have continued my vision of supporting charities. Since the Haiti Earthquake in January 2010, I had the extraordinary opportunity to go to Haiti (through my volunteer firefighter experience/training), with a charitable organisation called Humanity First. I have therefore made the commitment and decision that GlobeCorp Realty will support this great charity, and their ideals, as part of GlobeCorp's on-going commitment to improving the lives of humanity worldwide. Every broker and sales associate has the opportunity to donate a portion of each transaction to this worthwhile cause. You can read more about Humanity First on their Canadian website here

I also take pride in being able to assist different charities each year in their noble causes towards improving our communities and/or peoples lives. In 2006 I raised over $800 during my participation in the Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone. In 2007, I raised $700 for WWF-Canada during my participation in their yearly CN Tower Climb. Helping out these worthwhile charities is my small part towards making our planet that much better for all of us.

Outside of WorkFirefighter

Thames Centre Fire Department

Outside of real estate, I take great pride in being a volunteer fire fighter in the town where I live (just outside of London). Our fire department covers a large area, including 17 km of highway 401 in between London and Ingersoll. This great community service gives me the chance to give back to the people in the area, and gives me a great sense of pride and accomplishment.

London Ski Club Ski Patrol (Boler Mountain)

I also take great pride in being a ski patroller at London's Boler mountain which gives me the opportunity to help promote safe skiing and providing emergency medical services to injured skiiers and snowboarders.

Family Time

When I'm not busy with the fire department, ski patrolling or real estate, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and our two sons. Finding that perfect balance between work, volunteering, and family is an on going challenge, and I feel extremely lucky to be able to have an understanding and supportive family.
